Saw Palmetto is a small palm tree plant shaped like a fan that grows like a wild flower along the Atlantic coast of North America. The name is said to originate from the stem part under the leaves that look like saws. It lives for over 700 years and can weather droughts and pests. It is also close to fire-resistant. It is said that Native Americans consumed the fruit of Saw Palmetto plants for men's health.
